For the first time the speciesHalictophagus chilensisHofmann (strepsiptera, Halictophagidae) and a species belonging to the Dryinidae (Hymenoptera) parasiting CicadellidaeDeltocephalus glaucusBlancharel were found in the zone of Cucha-Cox Municipality of Portezuelo (Province of Ñuble) . This parasitism may achieve importance as biological control if the aforementioned Cicadellidae proves to be a virus vector.
