| Trough chemical analysis of leaves, soils and waters boron excess was shown to be responsible of leaf abnormal growth. Leaf levels ranged from 200 - 300 ppm in the whole leaf. Soil boron was high while water content was less than 0.30 ppm. Cultivars presented differential susceptibility being Moscatel de Austria the most affected. |
