The fungus Helminthosporium solani Dur et Mont (Spondylocladium atrovirens(Harz) Harz ex Sacc.) was isolated from several varieties of patato tubers, andpathogenicity tests were completed. This is the first cletermination in Chile of silverscurf's causal agent.
